Braz Vintage was born from the shared passion for vintage vehicles between two good mates, united by a love for classic cars and the charm they exude. The name "Braz" pays homage to Brazil, the origin of these automotive treasures, and "Vintage" reflects the camaraderie between the vehicles themselves.

The hobby and concept of Braz Vintage crystallized during a six-month stint in Brazil amidst the challenges of the Covid pandemic in 2021. Fueled by the dream to preserve classic cars in their original glory, the idea took shape, and Braz Vintage was created to help motor enthusiasts with the importation of our classic vehicles to our new home, Australia.
The primary objective: to maintain the authenticity of these vintage cars and transport them to our new home, bridging the gap between where we were and where we now reside.

Our goal is to connect with car collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate exclusive, 30-year-plus vehicles, maintaining them in pristine condition and valuing their uniqueness.

History
Beginning of our Hobby
2021
Both of us owned vintage vehicles and made the decision to import them. We've transported the essence of our garage in Brazil to our new home in Australia, featuring the timeless presence of the Chevrolet Opala and the rugged charm of the Ford Willys F-75.
2022
Our garage arrived
in Australia
Due to factors such as Covid-related issues and others, container and shipping prices unexpectedly doubled from our initial quotes. It wasn't until April 2022 that the Chevy Opala and the Ford Willys F75 finally embarked on their journey to Australia.
Our First Project and Our First Custom Order
2023
The debut of our primary project: a comprehensive ground-up restoration of our Chevy pickup C10. Initially estimated at around 12 months for completion, we've quickly realised the intricacies of restoring a 50+ year-old vehicle often extend timelines. Our journey with the restoration of the Chevy began in 2021, and after dedicated efforts, we successfully concluded the process in early 2023. The painstaking restoration yielded remarkable results. Subsequently, the pickup truck made its grand arrival in Australia in late March, a testament to the meticulous work and dedication invested in bringing this classic beauty back to life.

Introducing our inaugural custom order—a VW Beetle, fondly known as Fusca in Brazil. We were thrilled about the unique 1994 VW Fusca Itamar's arrival in Australia, we played a pivotal role in facilitating Paul's journey, guiding him through the entire process from purchasing the vehicle to overseeing the importation, dealt with the clearance once arrival in Australia and his long-awaited dream finally became a reality in August
