BRAZ VINTAGE
The Full Story
1972 Chevrolet C14
Meet "Cremosa," a 1972 Chevrolet C14 exclusively crafted by GM Brazil. Originally purchased from a farm in South Brazil, this classic underwent a meticulous restoration from 2021 to 2023.
Making its way to Australia at the beginning of 2023, "Cremosa" touched the land down under in March and has been turning heads wherever it goes since.
GM held the reins in the realm of large trucks manufacture in the world for quite a stretch, all thanks to the iconic C-10 series.
Produced in Brazil over a 20-year run, the 10Series was also available in longbed and crew cab configurations: short bed(c-14), long bed(c-15) and dual cab(C-14 Dual Cab) versions.
From its launch in 1964 (ushering in the retirement of the "Chevrolet 3100") until the end of production in 1981.

From 1974, it only came out as a C-10 and remained in the market until 1981 . Over the years. it sported some subtle style tweaks that kep it fresh and relevant.
The Chevy C14 runs an original 6 cylinder engine 4.3-liter inline that was fully overhauled on time of the restoration.
The choice of a cream color was intentional, echoing the truck's original hue back when it first left the farm, adding a touch of nostalgia to its timeless appeal.
Maintaining its authenticity, this truck boasts a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission, a freshly adorned interior, and a cargo bed with newly installed wood planks. It rolls on its original 16” steel wheels.

In the cab, the body-colored interior is adorned with black/cream custom upholstery for the bench seat and door trim, accompanied by a three point seatbeabelt and a lap belt for the middle seat with a cream carpet elegantly covering the floor.
The two-spoke steering wheel takes center stage in front of a minimalist two-gauge instrument panel, with mileage tracked on the five-digit odometer.
Highlights encompass dual side mirrors, step rails, distinctive Chevrolet badging on both the grille and fenders, complemented by split rear bumpers positioned under the fold-down tailgate.
The 16” steel wheels, finished in a sleek silver, showcase Chevrolet-branded hubcaps and are wrapped in white-stripe tires. The cargo bed not only exhibits wood slat flooring and silver runner strips but also boasts an integrated spare tire well equipped with a matching spare.
