Crafted in Brazil during a remarkable 23-year span, the Opala draws its lineage from the German-market Opel Rekord/Commodore, offering versatility in both sedan and wagon configurations. Notable features include distinctive fishtail lights with embedded reverse lights and Chevrolet badging.

Maintaining the authenticity it had when leaving the factory, this particular model stands out as a representation of the iconic SS model. Marking its unique presence as the first and sole model of its kind in Australia, the 1973 Chevrolet Opala stands as South America's rendition of the legendary GTS HT Monaro.

Retaining its original motor and gearbox, the clutch has been upgraded to a ceramic variant, and a sports carburetor has been seamlessly integrated.

This classic maintains its inherent charm with a steadfast 4-cylinder engine and a column-shifter 3-speed transmission, featuring a meticulously rebuilt single Weber downdraft carburetor.

The Red remains its original color and wears an older nicely maintained restoration.

While we deeply appreciate the vehicle's untouched originality, it's worth noting that there's generous space available, providing an opportunity for a potent LS3 engine if the next owner chooses to pursue a more dynamic, sleeper-style customization.

Brand new suspension and brake pads have been recently installed. While the dash panel retains its originality, the clocks and gauges have been upgraded to a digital format courtesy of ODG Instruments.

Enhancing the driving experience, the car features a vintage radio equipped with Bluetooth functionality, complemented by two front and two rear speakers supported by an amplifier. Additionally, sports wheels have been added, with the originals included and ready to go with the car.
